OH wow did not see that and yes once a user enters something other then zip code the site becomes unusable. THis will be fixed in our new design coming in June
Thanks for pointing this out! What version of Chrome are you using? Mac or Windows?
Hi thank you for this invaluable feedback!
The two issues you mentioned we are working to fix with our new design that we are releasing in June.
Thank you again for pointing out these issues & for the great feedback!
Thanks Rob for the comment!
We'll look into whether or not mixing voice over top uploaded mp3 can be done; not sure.
Be on look out for a new update this summer!
RE: MP3s were gonna suggest that users create/add their Sleep.fm playlist to their morning alarm clock playlist. So say you have a desktop alarm clock (Aurora for MAC for example) you can add your Sleep.fm playlist to be first wake up sound followed by an MP3. This way you wake up to brief, useful information and your favorite MP3.
Could you do this with your set-up?
You would like to wake up to Sleep.FM reading the events on your calendar?
Thanks for the comments and suggestions!
Thanks for the feedback. We do offer international weather reports that cover 88% of the world. If you receive your weather conditions are not available you may want to tweak your location to another nearby city. Please use this resource http://aspnetresources.com/tools/locid.aspx to find a nearby/close city. Once you have the Location ID for this new location go to sleep.fm and under the alarm images are links to click to change your location. If your using a device like CHumby or Squeezebox just use this new location ID instead of US zip code.
Love to hear how that went for you!
Thanks for the good idea! We'll see if it's something that can be done.
We've thought that a lot can be done with this new alarm URL concept. For one you can type your favorite alarm time and then bookmark to later just click, go to Sleep.FM and avoid the need to set the time, as the bookmark sets it automatically for you.
cheers and again thanks!
Im sorry about all that! I will look into UserVoice's premium service and see if they offer ability to type more then 400 characters. I was just typing up a response to another comment and realized I had to get rid of a lot words and stuff to submit. I empathize with you and thank you for the feedback!
It works great in Firefox 3.0 and above! Firefox 2.0.20 and below there are issues. If you can upgrade to 3.0.
That's good to hear Mary! Thanks.
Glad you found our production link to listen to our sleep sounds. THey play for about 15 minutes to help you sleep! The alarm sounds are brief ... I dont think people can register more then two quick bits of information when waking up (heavy snow temp below zero for example).
Thanks R_K for the note.
If you lose your Internet connection in middle of the night and alarm goes off we play a back up alarm sound. Code checks to see if your connection is alive at alarm time. If no connection detected we play day and date back up alarm.
Looks like we need to be clearer with this information then we currently are.
Thank you for the feedback!
Thanks for the kind note :)
We do have this which i use to fall asleep to… check it out here.
It’s white-noise (ocean & water sounds) to help you sleep. Please note the link above is a production link and not all features work on that page. The sleep sounds work fine though!
If you think this is something we should offer on our homepage or within our network. Vote this up!
Thanks anonymous your suggestion made me laugh!
Thats coming … would not be a social alarm clock without such :)
