The ability to customize your alarm into sections. Such as the first part will read the current time, then it will segway into the weather conditions, then it could segway into whatever else you choose, such as news headlines, or stock reports, surf conditions...

Syncs with internet sources; i.e. Facebook, Myspace, Twitter. A stand alone application that forces PC or Mac to wake from sleep or standby mode while keeping my sources up to date, this could also allow for syncing to CalDAV sources allowing iCal integration. My browser won't pull my Mac out of sleep mode rendering service unusable for us power conscious users.

My suggestion would be a 'snooze' alarm, where instead of the huge 'stop' button, it'll be 'snooze', and the 'stop' button is smaller and harder to see (even better if randomly placed somewhere each time, so we *really* have to wake up to turn off the alarm). Of course, if you hit 'snooze' the alarm will just ring again 5 minutes later... :)

After turning the alarm "on" the screen would go black and wouldn't turn back on until wake up time for display. (allows for darkened room) Also create option to set as fade on, would get bright closer and closer to alarm time (start when a desired time and ending at wakeup).

so when i wake up in the morning i can listen to my girlfriend say: hey don't forget to take this and that to work :P

Have an alarm that gives the current price and percent change in the major market indexes or other tickers.

This current voice sounds like she's bored out of her mind and rather nasal to boot. Please find a decent sound actor like the one you got for the male voice
